100th Madge-point

On Sunday 10 December 2017 at 10:00 CET we reach another milestone when Geoffrey Madge presents the 100th programme in his series Madge-point.

In the series, Louis Thörig and Geoffrey Madge revisit important recordings from the past and present and add their own interesting comments and anecdotes.

The series not only looks at pianists, other instrumentalists, singers and conductors are also the subject of analysis. The list is now too long to publish and it is impossible to select highlights because they are always major names.Geoffrey Madge

In the 100th programme they will be looking at a recording of a live performance by Geoffrey Madge himself. Recently, the Concertzender recorded his performance of the Goldberg variations by Johann Sebastian Bach. Their views on this masterpiece are worth hearing.
