The Concertzender
Open huis op 23 oktober
On October 23, 2010 at 07:00 pm CET the Concertzender will open its doors for a special evening. If you are in the mood for a fun cultural evening spent with kindred spirits come to the café and hall in » MuzyQ, Atlantisplein 1 in Amsterdam. This event is free of charge.
This is the first time that the Concertzender will be organizing an integral event: @ConcertZender for all lovers of quality music and other art forms: 
Donators
Through this event we also hope to interest new Friends in the possibilities of donating to the Concertzender. Your kind donations enable us to let you hear a wide range of the best music from past and present.
Pakistani music
Live acoustical music will be performed by young professional musicians in MuzyQ, such as the exquisite world music of » Shahzad Ali Khan from Pakistan.
Photos and paintings
Superb photography from the private collection of Sergey Shamota (Russia, Holland and Israel) will be on display, as well as paintings by Wiaan Ramadhan (Holland and Iraq).
Dancing to DJs
Dancers will enjoy the irresistible swinging beats of the DJs » DJ Bertú, » Hank Disaster and » Favo-RI8.
Unique Sound
The Concertzender is known for its exceptional and adventurous programming of music such as: 
- real jazz
- rare recordings of private world music collections
- historical recordings and concert registrations
The Concertzender is able to fulfill its artistic mission thanks to:

Introducing…
Liubou Minniyeva – editor world music and organizer open house
My editing job entails more than coordinating the world music programs. I also place all relevant information pertaining to world music on the website and provide PR for the Conce rtzender at other radio stations.
In April I joined the CZ as a volunteer. After a one-month trial period I was promoted to coordinator. I used to dream of a job with a radio station or other media. Now that dream has come true!!
Aside from my volunteer job with the CZ I work for the world famous Booking.com company.
Before that I worked as a journalist and took a course in mass media and communications. I have an MD in economy and management. I have worked for many large companies, such as Amphenol and Aimex Communications, for whom I worked in sales.
Recently I have come to realize that I want to work in the cultural sector, especially the arts and media. That is why I am now taking a BA. In a year or so I want to start my own company: Liubou Minniyeva Curating. This company will act as an intermediary between artists and companies, galleries, media, etc. My work will have many different facets, including:
- producing projects and expositions
- fundraising
- managing budgets
I believe that the Concertzender has a great deal of potential. Not only because it is an old and venerated radio station, but because of its ability to survive.
I spend my free time pursuing the following:
- flamenco
- art
- photography
- radio
- making programs
