During
November the Concertzender will be giving a lot of
attention to concerts and CDs
featuring recorder music. Well-
known recorder players such as Erik
Bosgraaf, Maurice Steger
and Dorothee Oberlinger can be heard in Concertzender Live,
and in Nuove Musiche you can listen to new CDs with recorder
music.
In Concertzender Live on Thursday 29th October (20:00-22:00 CET) we broadcast recordings of the concerts by Erik Bosgraaf & Cordevento and La Sfera Armoniosa with recorder player Reine-Marie Verhagen.
In January 2014 Erik Bosgraaf & Cordevento played Vivaldi's Four Seasons in the Toonzaal in 's Hertogenbosch, adapted for recorder and a small ensemble. Another recording was made during the Reincken Festival of
2013 in Deventer. La Sfera Armoniosa played a concert called
Mille Regretz, with 16th- and 17th century Italian music by among others Rognoni, Bassano, Ortiz, Kapsberger and Vitali.

In Concertzender Live on 12th November
(20:00-22:00 CET) we'll be focussing on concerts from this year, by
two great German recorder players:
Maurice Steger and Dorothee
Oberlinger.
During the Robeco Summer
Nights 2015 the baroque
orchestra Concerto de Cavalieri
conducted by Marcello Di Lisa gave a concert. Together with recorder player Maurice Steger they played baroque concertos
by Händel, Bach, Corelli, Antonio Scarlatti and Vivaldi. The concert took place in the Grote Zaal of
the Amsterdam Concertgebouw.
In May of this year the Open Recorder Days 2015
took place, with among other items a concert by Dorothee
Oberlinger, recorder and Florian Birsak, harpsichord. They played
recorder music from Melting Pot London in the programme The Pleasant Companion. This consisted of music by Parcham, Finger, Sammartini, Blow, Purcell, Händel, Schickhardt and Corelli.

Bremen (together with Dutch recorder player Han Tol). La
Cicala play
Neapolitan music
from 1759, while the Boreas Quartett play consortmusic by Christopher Tye, but on 5 recorders.
On Monday 2nd November you can hear Dowland in Holland,
the new cd by Camerata Trajectina with recorder player Saskia Coolen.
