On
24th May 2015 at 20:00 the Concertzender will begin its new monthly
programme ‘Space Exposure’ with innovative and counter-intuitive
electronic music.
Programme maker Roel Janssen
(see also ‘Introducing ...’) says: “Once a month
on the
Concertzender between 20.00 and 21.00 on Sundays just before ‘X-Rated’
I'm going to present a programme with innovative and counter-intuitive
electronic music, IDM, experimental techno, ambient, drum and bass, rave, downtempo and instrumental hiphop. It'll be a
mix of old and new music. I'll be playing artists form labels such as ‘Warp’, ‘Ninja Tune’, ‘Planet Mu’, etc.”
“I've
noticed for a long time that public and commercial stations have no
time for this sort of
niche genres which I why I
came across the
Concertzender. I sent them an email with my ideas for a programme and
came quickly into contact with Hessel Veldman , who invited me to come
along. His enormous passion for music was very evident during our
conversation. Slowly but surely the ideas became more concrete and so
on Sunday 24th May you will be able to hear the first episode of ‘Space
Exposure’.”
Broadcasts:
From 24th May every last Sunday of the month at 20:00 on the Concertzender.
