The
Concertzender's classical music department is looking for one
or more
programme makers. Suitable candidates can start immediately. All
staff at the Concertzender are volunteers.
The
Concertzender broadcasts exceptional programmes: adventurous
music, unknown composers, inspired performances,
outstanding musicians. One
important aspect of our programmes are
broadcasts of our recordings of concerts.
 Since
January there is broad-
casting time reserved on Monday evening and
Thursday evening every week for alternating Early Music and
Contemporary Music programmes.
We are looking
for programme makers who can compile and prepare these
programmes
using our recordings. In addition, you can
also help determine our choice of concerts for future
recordings. We are looking for people with extensive musical
knowledge, a formal music education is not required. Experience with
radio broadcasting is an advantage, but experience with writing the
spoken texts for the programmes is essential. You are expected to
require about 2 hours to produce each programme. All
staff at the Concertzender are volunteers.
