Shortly in Concertzender Live |
We've chosen three of the recordings we made during the main programme of the Early Music Festival 2018.We were already familiar with these Ensembles and have made recordings of them during previous Festival editions. Under each concert there's a link to the previous recording. Ensemble Masques led by Olivier Fortin (recording 28th August 2018 in the Hertz, TivoliVredenburg): Rameau's Pièces de clavecin en concerts The 58 year old Jean-Philippe Rameau composed his only collection of chamber music: the Pièces de clavecin en concerts. These are triosonatas for harpischord, viola da gamba and violin or traverso, and probably the first keyboard trios in musical history. Listen here to Ensemble Masques during the FOM 2014. Tasto Solo led by Guillermo Pérez (recording 31st August 2018 in the Pieterskerk, Utrecht): De La Rue, Josquin, Brumel: Déplorations For this concert Tasto Solo sought out the loveliest sad songs and requiems from the era of French-Flemish masters such as Pierre de La Rue, Josquin Desprez, Antoine Brumel and Loyset Compère. Listen here to Tasto Solo during the FOM 2013. Il Suonar Parlante led by Vittorio Ghielmi (recording 2nd September 2018 in the Geertekerk, Utrecht): Rameau, Violoniste? In 1701 the 18 year old and rebellious Jean-Philippe Rameau could have been in Milan and worked as a violinist in travelling ensembles. Il Suonar Parlante will play what Rameau played and could have heard in Italy. Listen here to Il Suonar Parlante during the FOM 2016. Keep an eye on the this news letter, our website or Facebook for the broadcast dates of the new recordings.
