DreamScenes

The DreamScenes-series is already available in blogvorm for some time online (and currently up to episode 43), but since July 2017 the programme can be heard monthly on the Concertzender: every second Sunday evening between 8 and 9. And of course ‘on demand’, because not every listener will have at precisely that moment enough opportunity to ‘detox’.

DreamScenes presents every month a selection of “ambient soundscapes, experimental electronics and modern classical music” in a non-stop mix (so without pre-and after announcements).

Compiler Peter van Cooten tries also to present ‘experimental’ music approachably, also (or especially) for a public not familiar with this genre. The selection differs strongly from month to month, but ‘dreaminess’ is the connecting factor. That ‘dreaminess’ doesn't mean that it's all just ‘nice’, because dreams aren't always that. A little tension is no bad thing. But finally the DreamScenes-broadcasts are very appropriate for an introspective moment, a moment of reflection, for an ‘auditive powernap’!
