From the recording department

The Concertzender can be found at many festivals and concerts in the Netherlands. Here is a small selection from the recordings we have made recently.

We were at the Rewire Festival in The Hague, a festival for fans of electro-acoustic music. In Den Bosch we made recordings at the FAQ festival for experimental music.

Technician Cees Sterrenburg was making recordings last month at the Slide Factory festival, a festival for trombone music in Rotterdam. A festival with exceptional musicians and a special public. Although the sounds made by all those brass players exercising their embouchures all day took some getting used to!

The Concertzender was also present at the Cultural Sunday on 23 April in Utrecht. We recorded a concert by the legendary Instant Composers Pool Orchestra in a basement on the Oude Gracht. They were celebrating their 50th anniversary and some of the musicians have been in the orchestra for all those years!
