A number of changes in our Classical Music department that are effective from January 1st means that some programmes will now be broadcast at other times that you have come to expect.

Annemiek Klijberg and Menno Feenstra have announced that they will end their activities for the Concertzender. We would like to thank them both for their contribution to the Concertzender in the last two years. Annemiek was responsible for starting a brand new programme Concertzender Now and also took over the programme The Piano studio. Menno was responsible for the programme Songs and was also involved with a number of our opera programmes.Evert Jan Nagtegaal

But there is also some good news:

Pauline Verburg is to take over The Piano studio from Annemiek. She will be in discussion with Willem Brons on the first Wednesday of every month from 14:00 to 15:00 CET.The first programme is on Wednesday 4 January and will include music by Haydn and Mozart.

The art of classical song becomes the responsibility of Evert Jan Nagtegaal. His surname translates as Nightingale and as a result the programme has been given a new title Die sanck een Liedt and is now broadcast on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month at 12:00 CET.

Cassandra van Agts continues her fascinating series about the lesser-known aspects of classical music but moves to Tuesdays at 19:00 CET and replaces the programme Open Screen. Pieter de Oude takes over her old time slot with a programme about Romantic Music, a music style that was previously not covered by our classical music progamming.
