Solta a Franga
on Friday evenings at 23:00 CET has been the place on the Concertzender
for fans of exotic dance music since 2009. The programme's subtitle is
'A party without borders' and the DJs mix funky Afrobeat, explosive
Balkan beats, hot Latin grooves, uplifting Oriental sounds and much
more music from around the world. You can expect music from obscure old
records alongside the latest releases.
We are again ending the year with out traditional night of Solta a Franga.
The programme starts at 23:00 CET on Friday 30 December and
continues into the morning of Saturday 31 December. Our DJs will
be mixing together their favourite releases and most impressive
discoveries from the last year. The regular team of DJ Safri, Bertú,
Socrates, Rafadelic and Goldfinger will be joined by a number
of guest DJs during the night. Normally the DJs just play
their music but during this programme there will also be short
interviews with each of them. There will also be a live video-stream
via Facebook.
The programme will then be repeated the next night, starting directly
after New Year has been celebrated at midnight. So just tune in to the
Concertzender if you are looking for music for your own New Year's
party. Clear the floor, pour the drinks, dim the lights and.... Solta a Franga! ('Let your hair down').
