On Friday 16th December from 21:00 – 22:00 the makers of Acoustic Roots,
Karin van den Boogaert, Carolien Cleiren and technician Hans, look back
with great pleasure over a successful year in which they were able to
welcome a number of very special guests in the Pieterskerk and the
Kargadoor in Utrecht.
They'll
play their personal favourite tracks and recount some background
stories. It was a very international group from countries such as Iran,
Syria, France, England, Turkey, Russia, Argentina, Lebanon and India.
From Pieternel to Kargadoor
In January and February the last two concerts took place
in the old 16th century chapel de Pieternel in the Pieterskerk in Utrecht
where Anass Habib and Babak-o-doestan were our guests. In March
2016 we found a new home in The Kargadoor on the Oudegracht in
Utrecht. Our first guests there were Régis Coisne and Didier Griboval. Since then we record Acoustic Roots
monthly in De Kargadoor, Oudegracht 36 Utrecht. You're very welcome! Follow us on Facebook or watch the Concertzender
