Festivals

This summer the Concertzender is again making recordings at a number of festivals in the Netherlands.

The Houtfestival in Haarlem and the Peter de Grote Festival in Groningen have already taken place, but you can still meet us at the following festivals:Grachtenfestival Amsterdam

Grachtenfestival Amsterdam

The Grachtenfestival Amsterdam, that takes place from August 14 to August 23,
is the biggest classical music festival in the Netherlands. The festival aims to bring a wide
public into contact with classical music in unexpected ways and in unusual locations and provides a podium for young talent. From metro stations to rooftop ter-
races and from the Bijlmerplein to the Buikslotermeerplein – the Grachtenfestival Amsterdam transforms the capital each year into the world's most impressive concert hall.klooster van Rolduc

Orlando Festival

Chamber music fans from all over the world have been gathering in the 16th century convent of Rolduc (Kerkrade, Zuid-Limburg) since 1982 for the Orlando Festival. During the day there
are lectures, workshops and master classes for both talented young professional ensembles
and enthousiastic amateur
groups.

This year there are also concerts every day in the Rolduc and in the theatres in Kerkrade and Heerlen. The Orlando Festival starts with the International Orlando Concours. In 2015 the Concours features piano trios and takes place from August 20 to August 30.
