In January we started with the first, early Latin Jazz from the United States, with recordings from the early 1940s. We paid attention to African and Carribean influences in Duke Ellington's music. You can

‘Under the Lemontree’ Under the Lemontree

Last Thursday, January 29th, ‘Under the Lemontree’ started as a component of the programme ‘Free Radicals.

It is the first episode of a series of - natural(ly) - unbounded programmes with a focus on the concepts 'atmosphere & flow'.

‘Under the Lemontree’ takes the listener on a journey where, almost unnoticeable, style and genre are being swapped. The compilation of the series is in hands of one of our permanent programme makers, Paul Lemmens. The first episode was:
